After careful consideration, the VT Foodbank weather team made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow's rescheduled VVG. This is never an easy decision, but for the safety of participants, volunteers, and staff the Foodbank has decided it is the best call.

Students in Mrs. Desforges' class hosted a special All School Morning Meeting in honor of Veterans Day. Students shared history and personal messages of gratitude for service members in the community and in their families. Students also wrote cards and letters for veterans at the VA hospital.
We filled our Paw Bank once again! We celebrated on Friday, November 1st by having a special viewing of “In the Haunted School” performed by the Lothrop staff. Enjoy!

Sixth grade students are invited to participate in Spirit Night activities and cheer on the 7th and 8th grade fall sports teams at Otter Valley Union High School on Wednesday, October 16th at 3:30 PM.
There will be booths for poster making and face painting, and a concession stand for snacks and pizza. The games will begin at 4 PM and will conclude by 6PM.

OVUUSD SEEKS SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS - The Otter Valley Unified Union School Board is looking for interested parties to be appointed to the Whiting and At-Large representative seats on the board. The appointed school board member for the Whiting seat must be a resident of Whiting. The appointed individual for the At-Large seat may be a resident of any OVUUSD town, including Brandon, Leicester, Goshen, Pittsford, Sudbury and Whiting. Appointed school board members would serve through to the next election in March 2025, at which time they would be required to run and be elected to complete the remaining year of the term.
