Lothrop Principal Page

Stacey Farrington grew up in Rutland City and graduated from Rutland High School.  She attended St. Michael’s College before transferring to College of St. Joseph in Rutland, VT where she earned her degree in Elementary Education. Stacey received her Master of Arts in Education Degree with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Castleton University.  Stacey has worked in various roles in Rutland County schools for over 23 years.  Before joining RNESU as the Home School Coordinator, Stacey was employed at Mill River Union High School for 11 years with her last role being that of Dean of Students.  Stacey was named Lothrop's Interim Principal on January 2, 2024. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving as Lothrop’s Principal.

Stacey spends her free time with her husband and their goldendoodle, Emmie.  She enjoys traveling to California, South Carolina, and Texas to visit her family.
