Parent Teacher Organization

The Lothrop School PTO is a nonprofit parent/teacher organization whose membership includes all parents and legal guardians of children at Lothrop School. The PTO’s mission is to promote open communication and understanding between parents and staff of the Lothrop Elementary School. Our efforts serve to enhance and maximize the education of every child while aiding them in achieving their highest potential. 

The PTO holds fund-raisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

We have a public page and a private group, we will be posting items/updates in the private group as well as the public page. Please 'like' our page and request to be added to the group (link).

 

Meetings

For the time being, The Lothrop PTO meets the second Wednesday of the month ONLINE at 6:30pm. ALL Lothrop families are considered members of the PTO and are welcome to attend meetings. Meeting notices/invites will be posted in the private Facebook group.

 

Help Needed

We are always looking for folks willing to help with various tasks and events so please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to contribute.
